By mixing it with cold water, it keeps the floor wet longer during dwell times. Makes wet vacuuming easy while eliminating the need for time consuming flood rinsing.

Directions For Use

  • Before using, read Material Safety Data Sheet for this material.
  • 1. Depending upon build-up, dilute accordingly with cold water.
  • a. Normal build-up (1-6 coats of dirty finish) - 1:4 (32 oz. per gallon of water)
  • b. Heavy build-up (7+coats of dirty finish) - 1:1 (128 oz per gallon of water)
  • c. Using an autoscrubber - 1:10 (12-13 oz per gallon of water)
  • 2. Remove all furniture from areas to be stripped. Dust mop and pick up and any loose debris.
  • 3. Apply liberally to floor. Let stripper stand for at least 5-10 minutes depending upon build-up to loosen floor finish. Be sure to leave surface wet.
  • 4. Use low speed floor machine with appropriate stripping pad to speed up procedure or in case of extreme build-up.
  • 5. Pick up solution using a wet/dry vacuum or auto scrubber. If any finish remains (such as around baseboards) use a cotton bowl swab with diluted stripping solution to apply and remove.
  • 6. Rinse with a clean mop and cold water. Floor rinsing is not required. Detail out around corners and edges and main areas while rinsing out your mop as it becomes dirty. Remove any residue from squeegee streaks as necessary.
  • 7. Allow floor to air dry. Apply any Fortech[R] seal/finish according to directions.
