Most cleaners contain detergents that leave a sticky residue behind which attracts dirt from normal foot traffic causing cleaned carpets to get dirty faster. For the most part all methods of cleaning leave behind some residue. Purclean utilizes an anti soil re-deposition compound which is a crystalline polymer that "holds" or encapsulates the dirt and prevents it from re-depositing back onto the carpet fibers. As the encapsulated soil dries, it crystallizes into a dry powder and is removed with vacuuming. The result is no sticky residue left behind to attract dirt.

  • Versatile in that it can be used not only for extraction, but also works well for bonnet cleaning and powerful enough to be used as a pre-spray.
  • Before using, read Material Safety Data Sheet for this material.

Extraction

  • Depending upon soil, dilute from 1:40 to 1:64 (3-2 oz) per gallon of warm water. Low foam and residue free.

Bonnet Cleaning

Depending upon soil conditions, dilute from 1:20 - 1:32 (6-4 oz) per gallon of warm water. Make sure spin bonnet is clean before starting. Bonnet entire area keeping in mind to flip bonnet over from time to time. Rinse out in mop bucket with clean wate

Pre-Spray

Depending upon soil, dilute from 1:32 - 1:64 (4-2 oz) per gallon of warm water. Use a clean pump up type sprayer for mixing and application. Spray areas completely, but do not over wet. Let sit for about 5 minutes to help penetrate and release the soil

Carpet Spotting

  • 1.) Mix Purclean[TM] 50:50 with water in a trigger spray bottle.
  • 2.) Spray directly on stained area, do not over wet. Allow sufficient contact time to penetrate soil (1-3 minutes).
  • 3.) Use a clean white absorbent towel to blot up the stain. Turn the towel over frequently as you blot, do not rub.
  • 4.) A soft spotting brush can be used for stubborn stains.
